This child bike seat is quite robust. It has been stored in my shed for some years. It fixes fairly simply to the seat post with a hex key (can provide one if needed) and needs a 13mm spanner to attach the seat to the rack. I replaced the original pink body strap (included ) with a black one. The (2 position) footrests originally had straps to hold the ankles. Those straps have broken but they weren't v useful anyway. The metal under rack has some rust but not so noticeable. The chair is slightly faded and I think there was a thin seat pad (no longer here). All in all it's functional and has been oiled and cleaned up. Maybe it will be helpful to someone?
