Doro mobile 6520 (not working?) (West Drayton UB7)

This was my Mum's old mobile. I have plugged it in but cannot get it turn on. It comes with 2 batteries but not sure if the charger is faulty or the batteries are dead. The mobile is in good condition though so may be useful for someone?
