25kg adjustable dumbell - BROKEN (Bradford on Avon BA15)

Omni 25kg dial-tech dumbell - BROKEN.
Important, the red safety lock on this set of weights doesn't engage any more, so you can't use it as designed. Do not attempt to lift it as one unit. Buyer beware.
However I thought perhaps someone could make use of the individual weights, or work out how to fix it?

So individually you'll have 8 x 2.5kg weights and 2 x 1.25kg weights, then the dumbell itself which weighs 2.5kg, and a plastic stand to keep them upright on the floor.
