Plastic matting/paving (Utley BD20)

I have 11 rubbery/plastic mats or "stepping stones" which would be useful on an allotment for paving between beds perhaps?
Looks like they should clip together but I can't work out how! I used them loose to hold down plastic groundsheet as a weed suppressant before I got my lawn laid.
