caravan wheel lock (Star yard ST3)

this was fitted to my old caravan and when I came to take it off the integral lock wouldnt open so I cut it off,brought it home and as a temp solution welded 2 pieces of angle iron on to each side of the cut and drilled a hole for a normal lock.By the time i got round to refitting it, the caravan had sold and its not needed.So if anyone has a old caravan or trailer pick up is ST3 lightwood
