Door measuring tool (Shortstown MK42)

Bit of a niche one but we are buying a house, trying to keep costs down. Does anyone have a tool like the pictured one that I can have in the next few weeks so we can measure and buy the correct new locks? Seems a waste to buy one brand new to use once
