It could do with a replacement seal as the current one is worn but because it is a chest freezer, food will still stay well frozen as the cold air sinks.
As it is, the freezer works best as a spare for occasional bulk freezing --- eg. if you have a party and need extra freezer space. If using the freezer for an extended time, it is best to get the seal replaced.
