cable for scanner (Gleneagles area, Wboro NN8)

Looking for this kind of cable - one end is usb, the other is as on photo. My laptop no longer recognises anything as plugged in when I try to use the scanner and I'm trying to work out if the problem is the cable or the scanner itself.
