We are brewing organic green tea kombucha in a 2.5l jar and the scoby doubles in size every month or so. There's enough on offer at present for at least 7.5l.
Can probably deliver locally but ideally collector brings a plastic or glass container (sandwich bag/Ziploc should be fine, or a jam jar with a plastic lid, but it's not meant to come into contact with metal).
