Blaze Toy car (San Jose)

Blaze and the monster machines toy car blaze. He takes batteries and talks which is working fine but it is supposed to transform into two different looks and he is sorta in the middle of both to where I can’t get him to stay locked in. Could be easy fix but my daughter doesn’t want a “boy toy” anymore 😔 she is growing up way too fast and I can’t figure out how to make her stop lol
