krups coffee grinder gvx242 (Horndean, PO8)

Coffee grinder. Works but surface mounted switch has broken off. Can be used by pushing the internal switch with a pencil or similar. How to repair the switch is shown on youtube. Alternatively the internal switch can be by-passed and a switch of any sort mounted on the body of the grinder. The latter would need a fine soldering iron. Possibly an item for Men's shed?
