24" LCD TV to repair or for parts (Baseline and Beaumaris)

I will be taking this to recycling at 3pm today Sunday.

I tried both HDMI-1 and HDMI-2 inputs but the screen flickers as can be shown in the picture. The sound from the speakers is working. There seems to be some oily residue on the plastic - I tried to clean it but I couldn't.

Its base is broken but it does have VESA-compatible screw positions.
