door key (leicester LE2 eme)

Hi can you help me my mum has dementia and keeps braking the shed key in the lock we asked Leicester city council to replace the 50 year old part rotten shed doors L,C,C. agreed they are beyond repair but 5 years later and still nothing so I've ran out of old long door keys. any key will lock the door but it needs to be longer than modern keys
