A very large 4 x 3 metre (approx) Afghan style carpet, it filled the room in the first photo. It does have pulled thread marks from a dog. They are on one side only, there is also damage to the same edge and tassels, against a wall the edge damage is not seen.
The quality is woven natural fibre so not faded or heavily worn. It is not a plastic backed modern carpet. The colours in the photos are true, it is a strong red.
