I don't know why the top part is so far from the bottom part, but it's pretty even though as a bar cart the top is still so far from the bottom. If you like to decorate with plexiglass, you're in luck because I also have a magazine stand that is quite stylish , it has two curving pieces that fit together elegantly, simply.
