it's brand new. it's 12' long, and in two pieces. it's broken --- the tip is broken. so the end of the tip is a broken part is about 2' long, which is the tip. u could probably just use the pole as is, or stick a tip guide on it, etc.... i got it from amazon. you could look it up there. so, broken, it is still 10' long.
