Kitchen Island for my small space (Alexandria VA)

I love to cook but what a pain it is currently...😔😬 I'm looking for a kitchen island for my apartment... Since the microwave and (6 cup)coffee maker take up 80% of what space I do have I'm in much need to more prep space.
