Micro scooter with fold button needing repair (Long Ditton KT7)

Pink micro scooter - well used but in working order, front bearings replaced recently, but the fold button has fallen off (usable without it, just difficult to fold). We have a new replacement fold button, but due to thread wear probably needs some Locktite or similar to keep it in place.
