Spring for telescopic pruner (Woodley RG5)

The spring on my telescopic pruner has broken; the photo above shows what it looked like. You can see the dimensions from the scale; the circular part had 2 turns (I think) and was about 1/2 inch in diameter. If anyone has anything similar I'd greatly appreciate it.
