Hello! I’m hoping to gather parts for an Astro Pi kit to support my child’s classroom team in participating in the Astro Pi Mission, an educational coding project from the Raspberry Pi Foundation. This challenge lets students work together to learn coding and run their code in a simulated space environment, and we’d love some help getting the equipment they need!
If you have any of these items you’re no longer using, they would be a huge help to the class:
Raspberry Pi 3 or 4 computer (needed for coding)
Sense HAT board (an add-on with sensors and an LED display used in space-themed coding activities)
Micro SD card (16GB or larger) for saving programs
Power supply compatible with the Raspberry Pi model
Used items are perfectly fine as long as they’re in working condition! The Astro Pi Mission provides free tutorials and resources, so no experience is necessary to join. Thank you so much for considering this request—your unused equipment could make a big difference for a team of young coders!
