Basic sea fishing gear (Coley Ave Area RG1)

Going to Weymouth for a Christmas break...have no Sea fishing gear..have not fished for many a year, but would love to have a go (weather permitting) off the beach. Would love some basic equipment for a couple of weeks over Christmas.
