Bird feeding related items (University Area RG1)

As rseen in photos: Bird feeding related items though I'm not quite sure how the bits relate to each other as they were given by a neighbour who moved away. There is also a long pole about 2 m or more high. Hoping some one can make sense of the parts and make use of the equipment to feed birds.
