molasses (W section, Bowie)

I have a 12-ounce jar of molasses that I know I'm not going to use very quickly (I bought it for a recipe and used one or two spoons). It has been stored unrefrigerated, but Google says molasses does not need refrigeration. Expiration date is Sept. 2027. Hope someone can use this!
