This Dell 2330dn mono laser printer works well.
As well as a USB and parallel printer port, it has an ethernet connection, so that any other device on a network can print to it.
It just needs a new toner cartridge. You can get one on ebay for less than £6, that will print 5000 sheets.
This is a good solid workhorse printer.
It is quite heavy, so you will need a car, but I can help put it into yours.
