Men's bicycle (Wells BA5)

Hi I'm trying to help my neighbour , he had his pushbike , that I gifted him stolen about a week ago in wells . He's looking for a replacement but can't afford much . Can anyone help ? A medium size mtb or commuter style would suit him. Thanks for any help in any way.
