Writing Desk (Leicester LE1)

This is a small writing desk, that was made by my great uncle. It’s been in the family for ages and is looking more than a little battered. It has two pull-out props to support the desk for writing mode and, over time, they have lost their handles. Likewise, the keys for the drawer and the main bureau are missing. It’s a fairly solid piece, although the backing is just hardwood. As you can see from the pictures, the paint work is a little basic. I’m hoping that someone will love it as much as I have and perhaps be able to repair it to more respectable state.
