Dyson Animal vac for spares (Emsworth PO10)

15+ years old but been in the loft fo 10 years. It was working very effectively recently but a part of the main casing has snapped off and the cylinder can now no longer be properly attached (unless someone has a clever solution). Otherwise it performs well. Useful for spares/attachments?
