Battery operated bin (Oxford, OX4)

Not sure if the automatic function for the lid works. It requires 4 x AA batteries. I acquired this from someone who was selling a cooker and other items owned by his elderly parents, so I don’t know when it was last used. I’ve cleaned it as much as possible, but it could do with a more thorough clean. It doesn’t fit my new space hence giving away. 70cm H, 40cm W.
