It works perfectly well, although the lid and hood are a bit damaged and the body is a tad discoloured with age.
Use plain popping corn and put a big bowl under the spout and switch it off when it's done and let it cool down before using it again. It takes only a couple of minutes or so. It gets extremely hot, so take care. You can add flavour after it's popped - I like mine with a spray of Frylight and plain salt, but maple syrup is good too.
Never add oil to the machine. Someone used it without my knowledge, presumably adding oil, which is why the plastic is bubbled in places.
