Frame dimensions is approx 27"x27". Each shade is approx 14" diameter, so when hanging, the total width across would be maybe closer to 40"??? (forgot to measure when it was hanging).
One shade has an extremely small chip on the rim (see pic with the red circle... hard to see as it's negligible, but want to give full disclosure). The other shade has a chip on the rim and no one has ever noticed (I feel it when I clean it).
