Silver-Reed model 223 electric typewriter, currently NOT WORKING.
This was my mom's, last used likely 1992-ish.
I plugged it in to test and the motor spins, but the gears are stuck (likely a result of dried oil). It should be serviced by someone with experience.
It's not something you can just plug in and expect to use.
Comes with 4 extra ribbons, 1 correction ribbon, cover, and the installed type ball is 10 pt. Delegate.
There's also an old Xerox of the manual.
There are more type balls someplace, and when I find them I will contact the recipient and arrange to get them to you.
I don't want to see this gorgeous Japanese engineering go to scrap, so please describe in your reply how you intend to get it serviced.
