Bronze Door Handle, Letterbox & Escutchon (Hazlemere HP15)

Solid bronze door handle and backplate together with a solid bronze letterbox and knocker,they are all cast bronze. In addition there is a bronze escutcheon with a cover plate.
They are not cheap imitations with a bronze lacquer finish.
The Handle, Letterbox and Escutcheon have all been weathered but will polish up to a good bronze finish, as you can see in the photograph where I have polished up half the front of the handle. It could then be lacquered to retain the polished finish.
 The Handle is not intended to turn, this is prevented by a small spike on the back of the Faceplate. The Handle has a square end that fits into a recess in the Faceplate and both are secured with a long screw that passes through the door and into the handle.
The Letterbox and Knocker are fixed with two screws that pass through the door.The letterbox plate has had a replacement spring fitted.
The Escutcheon and cover are fixed with two brass wood screws.
