It is NOT a balance bike as it has 2 wheels at the front. It is almost like a pre-balance bike as they can learn how to use their legs on it (before they learn how to use the handlebars to actually balance properly). So I am not sure how useful this type of trike would be. The ruler in the photo shows scale.
