DVD recorder (Dallington)

Please read. DVD recorder with hard drive. Always worked until recently when we needed it. Freeview recorder with NO apps. Hard drive stopped recording then dvd. Does play bought discs but not tv recordings. Anyone fix it? With remote and manual
