Hiking boots size 9 or 10 (HR2)

Does anyone have any hiking boots in fairly good condition size 9 or 10 they no longer need. I'm trying to get a friend into hiking but he can't afford to buy decent boots so would love to get some for him as a surprise to help him out. Thanks for reading
