"Father & child" lamp (faulty) (Moseley, Birmingham, B13)

Uplighter and anglable reading light, both dimmable. Originally from Argos several years ago. Works but keeps blowing bulbs too often so could do with being repaired (happens when switching it on but not every time it's switched on - can work for weeks and then blow again). Might be a simple repair but dealing with chronic fatigue, I don't have the energy to deal with it myself so hopefully someone else can get use out of it.
