This is one of three ‘pups’ from a plant I had last year. It has survived well over the winter and no guarantees but with luck and care it could end up looking something like the second picture. But they are very slow-growing I believe.
If you are familiar with bromeliads you’ll know to water the plant itself, not to water the compost.
