Memory foam or mattress (Walderslade ME5)

I've got an old camper van with a very hard bed. I thought of padding it out with memory foam but a friend suggested cutting down a memory foam mattress. If anyone has either a sheet of foam or a memory foam mattress that would fit a small double bed that would be great please.
