Old style Thunderbolt 2 to usb 2 / 3 adapter and cable (Lower Earley RG6)

Does anyone have an old style thunderbolt 2 to usb 2 or usb 3 adapter they no longer need? I want to try and retrieve information from my old laptop. I have heard an Apple FireWire to usb adapter would also work. Hope someone can help! Thank you
