Battery is completely dead so must be plugged in and on a stable surface to use. The power socket is susceptible to movement so fine if it is plugged in on s table.
I have cleaned the disk and installed Linux Mint seen as windows 10 support ends in october. You can download a windows 10 theme to make it look more like windows, but linux mint is popular and fairly straightforward to use. Has libreoffice so can use word and excel files.
Wifi works fine. Power supply included.
