I have an old brown leather mechanical reclining sofa which works fully and is very comfortable.
Not sure of the exact age but some panels are showing their age. I usually have a throw over the top so you do not notice them.
The majority of the sofa is leather but does have some panels that are man made.
The back comes off in two parts so the whole sofa could fit in a good sized estate car. A van would be best though.
The sofa is 1.6 m long, 1 m front to back.
When taken apart the base is 160 cm long, 95 cm front to back and 60 cm high.
Due the reclining mechanism the base is quite heavy.
