I am done with this worm composter which I have used for over 10 years. I am giving away the base, 3 trays and the tools. I am giving away an active worm composter including the all the Red Wiggler worms and 1 tray of finished compost. All you need to do is place it in a cool spot and continue to add food scraps and some paper. Through trial and error, I have discovered the worms don't like citrus peels or onions. Pineapple scraps will destroy the worms.
The Worm Factory design allows worms to travel up into the higher tray and break down your kitchen food and paper scraps. As each tray gets digested, you add new food into the higher trays, and continue cycling the trays to make more compost. Apply worm castings mulch to plants throughout the growing season. Saves money on fertilizers and soil amendments.
