Old silver cross pram (Old birchills WS2 8)

Please read carefully--not ready for a baby in.

I am hoping to find someone who would want to put the time and effort into cleaning and repairing this pram and hopefully give it another life.

This pram was used for 2 of my children, it is amazing, sturdy, nice and high up, has good suspension... Basically pushes itself. It fits on busses etc it was just wonderful.
I changed the seat on the chassis by taking the bars off the bassinet and bolting them to a mamas and papas seat unit. This is reversible with either a pot riviter or more bolts with a locking nut (can supply these). Both the seat and the bassinet can be reversed to face either way, but there is only 1 set of support bars so not a quick swap between bassinet and chair.
Seat part has some damage and has mould. Bassinet is green corduroy and has handles, points for straps, apron and base cover in matching pattern. Not mouldy but some plastic on hood is split.

Now for the sad bit....
This pram, although loved dearly, was too big to store in my very small house, so it got put into my allotment shed. Only, one winter, a hole was made in the roof and after a few months I found everything in my shed an absolute horrid state.
So this pram is in dire need of a thorough clean and disinfect. The bassinet could do with new wood base though it's not rotten just bent.

Anyone who would put the effort in at the very least needs to clean it well. Then if they want to use the bassinet you need a drill to make holes for the bars to be attached.

Does fold down but still chunky.

I really hope someone can love this pram again. Can be pushed away as structurally sound. NOT GOOD FOR A BABY YET.

Collection only in the daytime, fairly flexible but will have to be collected from the allotment near The Alma pub.
