It worked fine last time I cleaned out the carb but I think their was dirt in the fuel pipe and it blocked again. Hence spares or repair.
I bought it new around 25 years ago but then remodelled the garden so I only have a small lawn which I can manage with a push mower. It has been used annually but has not done a lot of work for some years, so plenty of life left in it for someone willing to 'fettle' it.
