Automated cat toy (dead battery) (North Oakland)

My cat loves this automated cat toy but the battery died and I can’t figure out how to open the battery compartment, even with all my tiny tools. I’m hoping someone will have the ability to get the door open and replace the batteries. If someone happens to have the tool but doesn’t want the toy I’d also be interested in help just getting the dang door open 😅 just don’t want this to go to landfill if I can help it.
