I imported this from America in 2020 in my lock-down 'wood plane period'.
It was cracked, so I had it cast-iron welded and have only recently put it all back together.
The repair isn't invisible by any means, but solid. There are still two small cracks around the mouth, but they shouldn't be a problem with light use.
I didn't replace or repaired the handle because I wanted to keep it as original as possible, and I doubted my own abilities to make a good enough repair of the original mahogany. It's a very nice example and perfectly useable.
However, I have too many planes and am having a clear out.
I'd really like it to go to a woodworking enthusiast who would like to make use of a 110 year old plane.
Any woodworkers interested?
