I removed the hard drive from this computer ready to recycle as WEEE waste, however, someone may appreciate it as a project to tinker with and see if they can get up and running (or use for parts).
The damage on the hinge was there since I bought it second hand and didn’t cause any issues with functionality for many years.
I was experimenting with putting Linux on it and then it decided to just show a blank white screen and not boot up properly, that was a year or so ago and still had the same issue when I checked last week.
Happy to see it go to a hopeful new owner!
