Upright armchair (Markinch KY7)

I'm asking for a friend who is going in for a hip replacement next week and doesn't have a suitable safe chair for his recovery - upright style like a wingback etc. The last hip operation he had done he was loaned a chair from the NHS OT dept and presumed it would be the same, but unfortunately he has just found out they no longer offer this so he's panicking and up to 99!!! I was wondering if anyone had a suitable chair that they no longer use?
