Pole, rod, curtain pole 2 metres plus...for garden stake (New Malden KT3)

Anything will do! I need a tall pole/ rod to use as a stake to keep my growing, tall shrub upright. Literally anything will do. Bamboo is too flimsy, need something sturdy, eg iron, wood. Its original use could be from anything eg clothes pole, kite pole, concrete reinforcing iron, metal curtain rod.
