Record player with speakers (Abingdon)

This is a Sanwa from, I think, the late eighties. It has a European (Belgian) plug. The speakers have recently had new speaker wire attached to them, and it had a replacement needle and rubber belt a year or two ago. The volume control slider is a bit temperamental and sometimes needs wiggling with a matchstick (see photo!). But it works, and works fine!
